Orienteering is a sport that appeals to people of all abilities and ages. Families and complete beginners are particularly welcome in BADO.
You don't need to be a Member to try orienteering - just turn up at any Local event. In addition most Regional and even some National events offer entry-on-the-day ("EOD") local courses - check the details on the organising club's website before you travel. Look for the Enquiries tent and someone there will be only too willing to help you.
This table summarises the differences between Local and National membership. It is a bit complicated, so if any of this is unclear please contact Alan Kersley.
