Planner's notes
  • Course lengths reflect the generally very fast, flat terrain.
  • The boundaries between gorse-covered rough open, undergrowth and thicket may not be as distinct on the ground as the map suggests.
  • There are unmapped animal tracks in (but not necessarily through) the gorse.
  • Depressions -> marshes -> ponds after any recent rainfall.
  • Full arm and leg cover is advised.
Start and Finish Both close to car park/assembly area.
EMIT Electronic punching To ensure punching, competitors must touch the control with their Emit card. If you do not place your card fully into the control, you will not receive the back-up pin mark, which is there to resolve any disputes if an electronic punching has not been recorded.
